I found this on Ebay, Tin type photo from 1867, a Mr and Mrs Charles Atwood of Massachusetts. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayIS=API.dll?ViewItem&item=3D160275937545 Unfortunately, there is no further identification. The gentleman appears to be 40+, so this could be: Charles Aaron Atwood of Groveland (b 1829); Charles Warren Atwood of Wellfleet (b 1824); Charles H Atwood of Plymouth (b 1821); Charles Edwin Atwood of Newburyport (b 1813); Charles Richmond Atwood (b 1803); Charles Atwood of Haverhill (b 1803) or others.... Brad
FYI: The link did not work for me -- said "invalid item." At first, I thought it had either sold or been removed, but I searched using "tintype Atwood" and the item appeared. I hope the family recovers it.
