The Akron Beacon Journal <www.ohio.com> 24 June 2008 Isabelle Parseghian Atwood Isabelle Parseghian Atwood, 83, passed away peacefully June 22, 2008 to join her parents. Born in Akron, she lived here all of her life. She actively volunteered for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and was a strong advocate of all their functions. Preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Amelia Parseghian, she is survived by daughters, Loraine (James) Ingrasci of Buffalo, N.Y., Michelle McGuire of Tallmadge, Diane Smith of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer and Katherine Loewen of Buffalo, N.Y., Meghan and Sarah McGuire of Tallmadge, Dustin and Erica Smith of Austin, Texas; brothers, Gerard (Margaret) of Toledo and Ara (Kathleen) Parseghian of South Bend, Indiana; and many other loving relatives and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all that cared for her over the years. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron 44333, with Rev. Richard O. Griffith officiating. Inurnment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
