The Huntsville Times <www.al.com> 11 Mar 2008 Rebecca Atwood Oct. 22, 1956 March 9, 2008 Rebecca Jean Atwood, 51, of Big Cove died Sunday at Huntsville Hospital. She was the daughter of Henry Stephens of Grant and Essie Dalton McGehee of New Hope. She is also survived by one daughter, Dana Michelle Lipscomb of Owens Cross Roads; one son, Michael Shannon Lipscomb of Somerville; one sister, Karen Britton of Paint Rock; two brothers, Billy Ray Stephens of New Market and Phillip Wayne Stephens of Gurley; and four grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by New Hope Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Allen Hughes officiating. Interment will be at Byrd Cemetery.
