Johnnie J. Atwood Shreveport Times <www.shreveporttimes.com> 1 March 2009 HARVEST, AL - Mr. Johnnie J. Atwood, 82, of Harvest passed away Thursday, February 26, 2009 in Huntsville Al. Mr. Atwood was born in Ferriday La. and had been a resident of Madison County for 13 years. He was retired after 28 years of service as a facility manager for General Service Administration and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Frankie Atwood; two daughters, Dorothy Ann Miller and husband Billy S. Miller and Phyllis Jean Atwood, both of Harvest; three grandchildren Joshua Twilbeck of St. Louis Mo. and Justin and Jason Twilbeck, both of Harvest; and one sister Martha Christenson of Ferriday, La. Visitation was held Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 5-7 p.m. at Madison Chapel Funeral Home. The family will have another visitation Monday from 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Bossier City La. with a 2 p.m. graveside service at Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard La.
