He was born June 20, 1934 in Thayer, Missouri, the son of the late James and Velma L. (Rigel) Atwood. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Duncannon Sportsmen Asso., Pa. State Hunters Organization, Life Member of Good Sam's and FMCA, Pa. Sheriff's Asso., Ntl Wildlife Asso., Newport Lions Club and AARP. He enjoyed traveling in his motor home, hunting , fishing and spending time in the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Auxt) Atwood, grandson, Jesselee Atwood, brother, Robert Atwood of Buffalo, Wyoming and sister, Ruby Scheuren of Etters. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Atwood, brother, John Atwood, and sisters, Mary Kimberling, Nora Jane Baker, and Bertie Lou Laughman.
