I found a marriage certificate and application for my great grandfather's sister, Marjorie Spencer, showing that she married a Harry V. Atwood in Los Angeles in 1924. According to this marriage application, Harry Atwood was born in 1895 in Washington. His father was listed as John Atwood, born in Tennessee, and his mother was S. Browder, also born in TN. I want to find out what happened to Marjorie and Harry Atwood... I was hoping one of you folks might recognize these names. My goal was maybe to find a sibling of Harry's and trace thier descendants to today, with the hope that someone living still might remember this Harry or maybe have some record about what happened to he and his wife. Unfortunately I have not been able to locate Harry or his parents on ANY of the censuses! Or any other records for that matter. One of the other posters on this thread shared a lineage that included a John William Atwood, born abt. 1846, son of Moses and Permelia Atwood. I wondered if that might be Harry V. Atwood's father.
