Victoria Times-Colonist <www.timescolonist.com> 24 May 2009 ATWOOD, RICHARD FULLER (July 22, 1929 May 12, 2009) Passed away comfortably at his home in Victoria, BC. He was born in Philadelphia, moved to Seattle in 1953, and emigrated to Canada in 1971, becoming a citizen in 2004. He was an enthusiastic student of life and shared many insights with friends and acquaintances along the way. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis, step-daughter Paddy Bruce, sons Duncan and Colby, brother Jack, and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday May 29 at 1:30 PM at Sunrise Assisted Living, 920 Humboldt Street in Victoria.
