Stephen W. Atwood Eagle-Tribune <www.eagletribune.com> 6 Jan 2009 LAWRENCE — Stephen W. Atwood, 60, of South Lawrence, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at home. Mr. Atwood was born and educated in Lawrence, and was a licensed 3rd class fireman (Boiler Technician). Mr. Atwood was the proprietor Atwood H.V.A.C. of South Lawrence. He was the son of the late John Allen and his wife, Dorothy Atwood, who survives him. He is also survived by brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. John Atwood of Maine. Brothers, Daniel and David Atwood of New Hampshire, Richard Atwood of Pennsylvania, Tim Atwood and his wife Dawn Atwood of Lawrence. Sisters, Lois, wife of Burt Turner of New York, Donna Haigh of Methuen, Avis Atwood of Andover, Nancy Silvestro and her husband John of Methuen. Mr. Atwood is also survived by several nieces and nephews. ARRANGEMENTS: A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, from 1 to 4 p.m. at The Relief'S Inn Fireman Club, 92 Tremont St., Lawrence.
