He graduated from Westerville High School in 1972 and Kent State University in 1976. Brad is survived by his parents, Jerry and Loretta Atwood of Whitsett, NC; his brother, Steven Atwood, and sister-in-law Cheryl Atwood of Charleston, WV; nephews, Josh (Cassie), Kyle, Cory Atwood; aunts, uncles and cousins; also survived by long-time companion, Ed Channell of Galena, OH. Brad was an insurance agent for 30 years with State Farm Insurance, Westerville, OH. Visitation will be held 1 - 3 p.m. Saturday at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville where service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday. If they wish, friends may contribute in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
