The News Record <www.news-record.com> Greensboro, NC 19 Aug 2009 Perry William Atwood EDEN- Mr. Perry William Atwood, 48, of 719 Westwood Drive passed away Monday, August 17, 2009 at his residence. A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Boone-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Atwood was born in Leaksville (now Eden) on October 16, 1960, a son of Gilmer Carlson and Mildred Thornton Atwood. He worked as a photographer. He loved children and animals and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his daughter, Juni Atwood Roberts of Axton, Va., his father, G.C. Atwood of Eden; his brother, Keith Atwood of Oram, Utah; and his three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Mildred Thornton Atwood. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Boone-Reynolds Funeral Home and other times at the residence of Anita and Milton Ellis, 7476 NC Hwy 135 in Mayodan.
