I am trying to find a Matilda Atwood with a Daughter named Matilda Atwood ( Burnett). Matilda was born in 1801. She died in NY. on 1-25-1916 at the age of 115. She appeared in 1880 census under the name of Brenette. I have a letter from the Genealogical Record Office dated 7-5-1916 wanting to know if My grandmother could tell them anything about her grandmother's longevity. In that letter she was listed as 107 years old. Daughter Matilda was born between 1826 and 1845 supposedly in Canada. Matilda married Antoine Burnett also born in Canada. Their 1st child (John) was born in 1858 in canada (french). The only mother/daughter duo I can find is; Matilda Atwood born about 1818 married to Henry Atwood in VT. Matilda Atwood their daughter was born in 1840. Any help would be appreciated, Fred
