He died at Elmira. They dwelt in Potter and Lycoming Counties, Penn., till 1844; at West LeRoy, Mich. till Oct 1856; at Wakeshma, Mich. till Nov 1867; at Battle Creek, Mich. till Nov 1870; and then returned to Wakeshma where she died 9 Oct 1859. She was buried at West LeRoy. He married 2nd 11 Mar 1860 at Climax, Mich. to Sarah Jane Davis, dau of Isaac and Priscilla (Rumsey) Davis, and widow of David Schrambelin. She [Sarah] was born 30 Dec 1823 and was living at Wakeshma in Nov 1875. They dwelt at West LeRoy Mich. till 1858; at Wakeshma till 1859; at Schoolcraft till 1863; at West LeRoy again till 1865; and then settled in Battle Creek, Mich. where they were still living in Nov 1875. #14806 (2) Ephraim Zelotes Atwood b at Cummings, Penn., 28 Oct 1838; a farmer; mat Leonidas, Mich., 20 Apr 1862 to Semantha J. Holmes, dau of William and Betsey Ann (Gorham) Holmes, of Athens, Mich. She was born at Sherwood Mich., 11 Feb 1841.
