Today I had an opportunity to do some poking around the Brockton (MA) Public Library while my children were attending a crafts class. I was searching the local newspaper from 1909 looking for my gg grandmother's obit and found this ATWOOD obit that I thought may be of interest to some of you on the list. I also found some other "goodies" in the "Genealogical and Family History of the State of Maine" also written in 1909. There are four pages of ATWOOD families. As time permits, I will post to the list. Stay tuned! Hope it is helpful!
