Congratulations and a big thank you to all the transcribers. The scanner is key to being able to keep up and accelerate the rate of transcription. Thanks to those who volunteered their help for using the scanner last time and to Dave Mayall for keeping the scan syndicate running so smoothly. FreeBMD is still short of people to scan for us, so the call remains for people who can get to West London and help us by doing some scanning. Our need to put the extra teams in place is a direct result of the success of the project. It's fantastic to hear from people who have found their people using the index and we are seeing it more and more. None of it would be possible without the help of all of the volunteers who put their time and money into transcribing and helping to control the project. We appreciate the help and time of all of the volunteers and we are always looking for more. We are continuing to look at all avenues to increase the transcriber base and the access to source for people.
