Atwood, 51 Raised in Chatham; enjoyed reading, writing, Ireland DENNISPORT - Patricia Ann Atwood, 51, a Cape native, died Monday at her home after a brief illness with cancer. Born in Barnstable, she was raised and educated in Chatham. She had a passion for reading, writing, her computer and paganism. She also enjoyed Ireland. She is survived by her life partner, Kim White of Dennisport; her mother, Kathleen "Pat" Atwood of Orleans; four daughters, Kathi Sweetser of West Harwich, Krissi Gagnon of Brewster, and Katie Stephens and Kerry Stephens, both of Eastham; four brothers, Michael Atwood of Dennis, Robert Atwood of Concord, N.H., Greg Atwood of Marstons Mills and Todd Atwood of Brewster; a sister, Tammy Berrio of Brewster; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services and burial are private. Visiting hours are 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Nickerson Funeral Home, Eldredge Park Way, Orleans.
