Priscilla M. Atwood of Pelham, Girl Scouts volunteer; 75 Monday October 11, 1999 PELHAM, N.H. -- Priscilla M. (Vining) Atwood, 75, of Pelham, died yesterday afternoon, Oct. 10, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua. She was the husband of Frank W. Atwood, with whom she would have celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary on Jan 1. She was born in Methuen, Mass. on Feb. 3, 1924, the daughter of the late Shirley R. and the late Beatrice (Ham) Vining. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Pelham for many years. She attended Pelham elementary schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. Before retiring, she was a presser at F.M. and H Cleaners in Pelham. She was a member of the senior citizens of Pelham and a former Girls Scout leader and Cub Scout den mother. Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Leslie Rae Atwood of Milford, N.H.; two sons, Frank W. Atwood Jr. and his wife Joan of Vero Beach, Fla. and Jonathan P. Atwood and his wife Dianne of Boca Raton, Fla.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Florence L. Foisie of Pelham, and Judith Dutton and her husband Richard of Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Sidney Vining and his wife Dorothy of Anaheim, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Priscilla Vining of Melrose, Mass; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Steven E. Atwood and sister of the late Murial S. Corbin, John Vining and Warren Vining. FUNERAL NOTICE -- ATWOOD -- In Nashua, NH, Oct. 10, at St. Joseph Hospital, Priscilla M. (Vining) Atwood of Pelham, NH, wife of Frank W. Atwood. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Committal Services at the Gibson Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Burial in the Gibson Cemetery.
