>From the Concord Monitor, Concord, NH William F. Atwood Jr. Tuesday, January 11, 2000 William F. "Billy" Atwood Jr., 49, of Wall Street, Concord, died yesterday at Concord Hospital of an AIDS-related illness. He was born in Boston, the son of Beatrice (Green) and William Atwood Sr. He lived most of his life in Massachusetts. He worked as a convenience store manager. Since moving to Wall Street, he was active as a volunteer in the HIV/AIDS/STD education program for the AIDS Project of the Merrimack Valley Assistance Program. Survivors include William Atwood of New Jersey; Deborah Atwood of Massachusetts; William and Kristin Atwood of Massachusetts; Francis "Frankie" Atwood and Lisa Colto of Massachusetts; his sister, Beatrice White of Maine; nieces, a nephew and grandnephews in Maine; Bridget Healy of Concord; and his friends in recovery. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held tomorrow at 8 a.m. at the Carmelite Monastery in Concord.
