Atwood Surname: Atwood ------------------------- I am researching my great-grandfather's family, Joe E. Atwood of the Beaver Dam community in Smith County. He moved there from Paulding in Jasper County. His first wife had two children, Melvina (Viney), who was born in 1874, and Joseph T. Atwood, who was born in 1875, died in 1965. Does anyone out there know anything of them? I am most interested to know who their mama was, or if someone could direct me how to contact any of their children who might could tell me more about them. Joe E. Atwood had (another) daughter named Mollie or Molly, born 4/11/1886, died 1/15/1974. I would like to know who Molly married, and also to confirm that her mother was Betty Crosby Green Atwood, second wife of Joe E. Atwood. Or was she a child by another of his wives?
