PARKER was born in San Joaquin County Oct 22, 1862, son of Thomas B. and Margaret (GIVENS) PARKER, both natives of Hopkinsville, KY. Thomas B. (the father) died when Thomas was a year old and Margaret married M. E. BRYANT. When he was 19 years old he went to Mason Valley NV, then returned to Lockeford. On May 8, 1884, at Lockeford, he married his first wife, Miss Margaret ATWOOD, a native of Logansport, IN. They had two children: Roy, who met his death at the age of 14 and Edith, who died at the age of 22. Margaret died in January of 1920 from influenza.
