    3. Shirley Wasn't the Joshua of Shoreham and Brandon, VT the son of Parker and Lovicy (Gale) Atwood ? The Joshua of Reading, VT, was the son of Joshua and Thankful (Stone) Atwood. Now admittedly, I do not know who the parents of Joshua Atwood of Reading, VT were and if his father was at Plattsburg, it would seem likely that he was from the Shoreham stock also.... Do you have anything more about him from the Brandon, VT records ? Wife, family ? What was he doing in Brandon ? Thanks !!
