I have a couple of references to a Hannah WALKER who married John ATWOOD in Dighton, Bristol County MA in 1733. She was listed as Hannah PLACE, it being her 2d marriage. Boston Transcript queries of 1916 and 1922 credit her with 3 daughters (Elizabeth, Hannah & Mary) from 1st marriage to FNU PLACE (Military Intelligence talk for first name unknown). Who could this PLACE gentleman be ? There is a record of a John PLACE marrying Hannah HARVEY in Trinity Church Newport in 1726 and then being executor of somebody's estate in 1731, but I don't have a place for him either???
