I wonder if someone out there will do a big favor for me. I am searching for the parents of William Henry Atwood born in VA in 1852. Could someone please check the 1860 Census for the area of Tazewell/Giles/Smyth/Washington/Grayson/Carroll counties in Va? William's parents were married in NC (Ashe Co). He is on the 1880 census in Tazewell Co. Va as being single. (He married later in the year). If someone could find him with his parents on the 1860/1870 census, I would be very grateful. I have found 2 Atwood men, Nathan and Franklin, who were married in the correct time frame. I appreciate the help so much. Thank you in advance.
