ATWELL, CT>DutchessCo>BroomeCo,NY Seeking information on parents and ancestry of Paul Atwell, b. 16 Jun 1765, Amenia, Dutchess Co., NY; m. Abigail Mayo; moved in mid- to late-1790s to Broome Co., NY; d. there 3 Dec 1852. Broome Co. history says family from CT. Early Amenia records show a marriage of a Paul Atwell to a Ruth Lamb, 14 Mar 1764. Were these Paul's parents? I have info to share on Paul's descendants.
