Who was the John Atwell who married Charity Randall? Charity was b. 11/12/1776 in Goshen Twp., Chester Co., PA daughter of Joseph Randall and Rachel Griffith. The Randall Family were members of the Uwchland MM (Quaker) in PA. They transferred membership to Fairfax MM and Goose Creek MM in Virginia 10/04/1783. Am just curious because Charity's sister, Mary, married my ancestor, William A. Skidmore. Some think that William's middle name was Atwell which may signify the relationship (if only geographical kinship) between the Randall, Skidmore and Atwell Families. Was impressed by your logical and methodical thinking on the Atwell mystery. Am interested to hear from you about the above information.
