More 10 Nov 1850 in Desoto Co MS; children Mary E Atwell and Rhoda C Atwell. marriage 2, Esther Wilson in Ripley Co Mo; chisdren Paulser Marion Atwell, Sarah E Atwell, Manson Emery Atwell, and Billy Ledley Atwell. He was listed on the 1880 Census in Duck Creek, Wilson County Ks as Samuel ATWOOD age 54 with wife Ester age 50, Manson E son age 20 and Billie L son age 16.
