We think it was in or around Roanoke WV. He had a brother or father named Benjamin. He left home to work on the railroad and was in a huge accident where he was the only survivor. He married and had children in Ohio. He then married my ggrandmother in Georgia. They had three children: Rachel, Cecil, and Mary Viola. Mary is my grandmother. He was a Baptist circuit minister.
