Hello, This is my first email to the list. I'm Jay Gieseking from Minnesota. I was wondering if anyone had information that can link the Gieseking family back to Germany? My great grandfather Wilhelm James Paul Gieseking is from Berlin and relocated to Minnesota around 1890. The family has a coat-of-arms in Minden, Germany. It's in the original family home, the Gieseking Haus. I can't trace my lineage directly to it though. If anyone has information they would like to swap, please respond.
