I know that the English Royalty is traced back to Adam and Eve so I was looking at this Knight of the Garter site. If you go to 'Surnames', and then at the bottom of that page is 'Colonial Records' Go there and just start digging! Maybe we can find something new! I entered Thomas Ashby and went from there.
