Thanks Nellie, for the URL. It's a super place to do research. I was there this spring. Wished I coud have stayed longer. I discovered one thing about it though. All these years I had been told that the archives had all the early records from the county. Not true! I had to go to the county courthouse to get a marriage record, dated 1795. So check before you go all the way to Richmond for something, that may be at the court house level.
