Thomas Ashby married Nancy Gaskin. Some of their children were born in Greenburg, Westmoreland County, Pa.. Then the family moved to Wetzel Co, Va. (W.Va.). Three of Thomas and Nancy's sons were Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington Ashby. They were in the West Virginia Calvary and Army during the Civil War. Thomas father was in the War of 1812 he served under Harrison and participated in his march to Fort Meigs. Can anyone tell me who Thomas's father was?
