I am writing to your 2005 address and hoping this reaches you (which I can now say did not). I've been doing genealogy for many, many years, and have an awful lot on the Vanosdol family. But, with my Granny living in Ripley County, and Uncle Ollie living in Hagerstown, I think I only met him and Aunt Sally about three times in my life, and know nothing of his children. I have recently been in touch with Sherri Miller, of Palm City, FL, regarding possible family connections. She is a great-niece of Oliver Lewis Asche, and in trying to answer a couple of her questions, I realized how very little I know about Uncle Ollie's family. If we are speaking of the same man, I would enjoy hearing from you. I am more than willing to share my Vanosdol data, of course. But you may well be a second cousin, and for that alone I'd like to hear from you. The one time I remember visiting Aunt Sally and Uncle Ollie in Hagerstown, I was about 11, and hopped on a horse, bareback, in their pasture, which promptly took off and made a hard right turn right before a pile of rocks, where I landed, cracking a couple of ribs!
