He & Leona Asche (nee Rasmussen) had 3 children: Martha Asche, John Asche & Norma Ann Asche (my mother). Weert was killed in 1940, not long before Norma was born. I am not sure of the exact date of death. Leona remarried; her second husband was Glen Sheets, who died in 1985. Leona died 12/1/2008 at the age of 91. My mother, Norma, was born 9/28/1940; on 6/3/1958, she married my father, Ross Cecil Craft (born 2/23/1938, nickname "Butch"). Ross died of a heart attack on 7/23/1994. Norma & Ross have 4 children: Ralph Allen Craft (b. 2/11/1959), Deborah Lynn Craft-Marks (b. 4/17/1960), Ronald Joseph Craft (b. 1/9/1962), Rosalie Ann Craft-Andersen (b. 11/25/1963).
