It's available through Heritage Quest and Ancestry.com. Both of which should be available at your local library. Some libraries offer home access to Heritage Quest and all you need is a library card. The USGenWeb Project will have links to specific counties where your ancestor's lived and should provide information as to where you can get vital records such as birth and death certificates. http://usgenweb.org/ as well as other sources. Another new and up and coming FREE resource is Family Search Labs provided by the LDS church http://search.labs.familysearch.org/ No resource is perfect since human beings are involved in all aspects of record keeping there are going to be errors. oh and by the way -- HAVE FUN. He was born Sept. 13th, 1913. She was born June 20th, 1917. They lived in Indiana and had three children. Linda, Larry, and Janet. Linda is my Mom!!! Hershel's parents are, Charles E. Asche and Esther (Raney) Asche. He was born June 17th, 1888. She was born Jan. 14th, 1894. They married Dec. 7th, 1910 and had eleven children. Gerald Richard, Hershel Harold, Goldie Irene, Clarence Howard, Clara Caroline, Carl Raymond, Sylvia Helen, Leroy Donald, Robert Charles, Gene Delbert, and Floyd Gale. Esther (Raney) Asche has one sister Irene. We think she had brothers, but don't know, Charles E. Asche had a lot of brothers, I don't know about sisters. We have no names for any of them yet. Hello all, This mailing list receives posts that are forwarded from the companion Message Board. This is called the gateway. Because of the new board system that is now in place those posts now arrive to the mailing list using the gateway address. The proper course of action has always been to click the link in the gateway post and reply on the board but now that method of replying will become mandatory as there is no way to reply via email to the board poster--any replies you wish to make MUST be posted on the board. Replying to only the LIST will NOT reach the board poster and clicking REPLY to the gateway post will result in the gateway address bouncing as it is not a valid address for receiving mail. Yes I know who you are talking about he was my husbands cousin. I interact with some of his relatives doing genealogy. If I cant answer your guestions, I'm sure I can get the answers for you.. Ollie's sister Anna Asche Schmaltz lives about 3 miles from me and I interact with Nancy Grimes her father was a brother of Ollie. My husband father was Charles E Asche and he was a half brother of Uncle Frank Asche and Franks mother was a Palmer. I also am on friendly terms with Sandy Enzwielder she was Clara Bell Asches daughter. Clara Bell was a sister of Ollie and Theodore , Anna, Elmira,Elizabeth, etc. I think Sandy has a lot of information on the Palmers, but she don't have a computer.
