Hi list, I am searching for information on Susan ASBURY married to David STONE on 29 March 1840 in Virginia (now West Virginia) or North Carolina. I also believe that Susan died before 1843, probably without children (David STONE remarried this year). The 1830 census for Kanawha County West Virginia has a couple of possible fathers for Susan Asbury, (Nimrod and Joseph and Isaac and there is also a Henry ASBURY). In the 1850 census it shows a Steven ASBURY living with David STONE: Steven's age is 23. If anyone has any information on this couple it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
