Cornelius, and Absalom was their father. Absalom M. is listed in the 1880 Mortality record for Scott County Ark., and if I am not mistaken is buried in Parks cemetery near Nola Ark. I have quite a bit of info on this line but a lot is sketchy.E-mail me and i will send what I can.

Cornelius is listed as an Alternate Juror for the Danville District Court of Grand Jurors for the February Term, 1879 in the Independent Arkansas Newspaper, of Dardanelle January 18, 1879 issue, so he was still alive then. And in the Independent Arkansian of Dardanelle August 29, 1879 U.S. LAND OFFICE DARDANELLE, ARKANSAS NOTICE: Notice is hereby given that the following named settler had filed notice of his intention to make final proof in support of his claim, and secure final entry thereof at the expeiration of thirty days from the date of this notice, viz; Mary C. Barrett, Homestead Entry No. 8566 for the Northeast quarter, Section 5, Township 2 North, Range 26 West, and names the following as her witnesses, viz: J.A. Cain of Scott County, Arkansas and G.W. CORNELIUS of Scott County, Ark, T.M. Gibson, Register Pg. 3, Col. 5 There was also a W.A. Cornelius in a few articles in this 1875-1879 timeframe.
