I feel rotten writing this letter to the list. It is not my nature to say things about people. This will be my only letter on this subject. In early MAY 2000 when I visited there I stopped by Harkey Valley Cemetery and noticed that the gravestone of my grandfather Jim Harkey was loose on it's base . This bothered me because I think stones are missing from that cemetery. I was afraid Grandpa's stone would be gone when I next returned. On the way out of the valley I stopped at this Monument place and talked to a Mr. D. who seemed very nice. I gave him a check for $75 to clean and repair the stone. He promised me quick service and a photo of his work. After numerous phone calls since with no results I am left with the bad feeling that I have been cheated. I think by September he has had ample time to fulfill his promise. This letter is not genealogy but it bothers me to think that there may be others who could likely be cheated by this business.
