I believe he is the gson of John Dempsey. John may have died in Waveland also. Would like to correspond with any one who may have been related to either. John was born 1828 SC wife was Catherine "Clory" Reeves Dempsey born 1828 SC also. They moved to Ark. about 1880=84 from Tenn. and Alabama.
