She is from the Preston McGuire family being mentioned today and she may not be on the Internet. She is a member of the Yell County Historical Society and wrote to Maurine Atkins asking if he was part of our Atkins/McGuires. We could not find any connection. She said she was not able to get back past Preston on the 1850 (I believe) census. She will be so glad to have this new info.
