I visited Scott County a couple of weeks ago for a few days. I have to say that I met some of the nicest people you could possibly want to meet. Everyone I met was helpful, gracious and kind. I met new cousins just by talking to people who had heard that I was in Waldron doing research. I was traveling alone, but never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. Unfortunately I was unable to visit Yell County, as I had planned, except for a few hours at Gravelly visiting my cousin and the Mulberry Free Will Baptist Church. Next time I will hopefully be able to handle a longer trip. I visited several cemeteries: Parks at Parks, Parks near Nola, Mt. Moriah, Lamb, Hunt, Union Hill and the small cemetery at Boles where James and Lucinda Sessions are buried. Got some great pictures, and had a great time. Thank you Scott County!
