Hi I Am looking for the parents of Amberson/Ambrose Eligh/Eli Watson, found in Hunt Township in Scott County from 1900-1920 Scott County Census records. His name has been recorded as Amberson E. Watson in 1900, Ambrose E. in 1910 and Eligh Watson in 1920. Marriage record has him listed as Eli Watson. They are found living next to George W. Butler family in 1900 and 1910, therefore I am supposing that Dora C. Butler is a daughter of this family. There was one other Watson family in Hunt Twp in 1900, the Thomas Peter and Martha Ann “Nancy” (Self)Watson family. Is he a son of this family. The 1900 census indicates that his father was born in Alabama, as was Thomas P. Watson. I believe the connections below are true, but have not proven it to my satisfaction.
