Byrum, age 83, a resident of Russellville, AR died Sunday, April 23, 2000 at the Dardanelle Hospital at Dandanelle. She was born on October 30, 1916 in Pope County, AR to J. F. and Harriett Martin Hedgepeth. Mrs. Byrum was a homemaker, the widow of Eugene Byrum, and was also preceded in death by a son, Wayland Gene Byrum. She attended the Oakland Heights Assembly of God Church. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James R. and Virginia A. Byrum of Russellville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and James Tucker of Dardanelle, and Pat and Donald Birge of Russellville; one sister, Virgie Price of Russellville, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service was 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2000 at the Humphrey Funeral Chapel officiated by Rev. Ronnie Birge.
