My great-great grandfather was a Free Will Baptist Minister in the late 1800s and early 1900s. He was with a Church called the Mulberry Free Will Baptist Church, which was in Harvey, I think. I have been told that he was the second pastor for that Church. His name was Benjamin Christopher Harris. He was also called B. C. Harris or Chris Harris. The last record I find of him was when he performed a marriage ceremony on February 18, 1901. The couple he married were from the community of Nebraska, which no longer exists. This community was near Nola in Scott County. B. C. Harris lived in Gravelly in the 1900 census. I am trying to determine when he died. I have been unable to find any obituary or other record of his death. I believe him to be buried in Parks Cemetery near the Yell County line at Nola. His daughter, Missouri Harris Cloninger, wrote a letter in November of 1961 that her father had passed away 57 years before, which would have made his death about 1903. She stated that he had been a minister for over 40 years. I am hoping that you may be able to either help with some information about him or tell me where I might write to find out when he died and perhaps other information as well. Charlene Holland
