McGee, age 89, of Dardanelle, AR died Friday, April 28, 2000. She was the daughter of the late John T. and Sarah Bohannon Keeling of New Hope. She was a lifelong citizen of Carden Bottom and Dardanelle. She was the widow of N. E. Dick McGee, a homemaker, a life member of the Eastern Star Lodge of Dardanelle, founding member of the Carden Bottom Missionary Baptist Church and an active leader of the Carden Bottom Home Demonstration Club. She is survived by two sons and three daughters-in law, Jerry Fred and Betty McGee of Dardanelle, N. E. Jr. and Sue McGee of Little Rock, AR, and Carolyn McGee, wife of the late Jim Ed McGee of Dardanelle, AR; one half-brother, John Carroll Keeling of Russellville; two half-sisters, Nelda Bennett of Atkins, AR and Ora Mae Caldwell of South Gate, MI; one step-sister, Elzonia Harrell of Pine Bluff, AR; four grandchildren, Mary McGee, Vickie Crow and husband, Bob, Jerry McGee, Jr. and wife Cindy, and Jeffery McGee; five great-grandchildren, Trey, Travis, Jacob and Jared McGee, and Lisa Crow. Funeral service was May 1 at the Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas McElmurry officiating. Burial was in Brearley Cemetery under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville, AR.
