He had 3 brothers, Henry, Lee, Athan, and 2 sisters, Ruth and Bertha, all of whom (I think) were born in Yell County Arkansas. My ggrandfather was Walker S. Merritt, Born Feb. 1859 (not necessarily in Arkansas), and buried in Petillo Hill cemetery near Centerville, Yell County. Unable to get any further. Supposedly there is a Tennessee connection, but I have yet to find it. Any help appreciated.
