She was born October 15, 1930 in Hon, Scott County, AR to George and Julia Browning Syler. She was the former owner of Lambert Motors in Danville, AR with her late husband, Burvin. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Elaine Lambert of Nola, AR; one daughter and son-in-law, Janelle and Noral Stamps of Waldron, AR; adopted son and wife, Tommy and Lynn Vanover of Texarkana, AR; one brother, Burl Syler of Arkadelphia, AR; one sister, Martha Grisby of Waldron, AR; four grandchildren, Brad Stamps, Stacey Laurie, Mary Lynn Mentz and Lewis Dale Lambert; two great-grandchildren, Madison Laurie and Ethan Mentz. Services were May 5, 2000 at the Cornwell Chapel in Danville with Bro. Jay Hunnicutt officiating. Burial was in Reed Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville, AR.
