Homer McConnell Homer Lee McConnell, age 67 of Danville, AR died Thursday, September 18, 1997 at his home. He was born September 24, 1929 in Bluffton, AR to the late Jack and Willie Dobbs McConnell. Among his survivors is his wife, Billie White McConnell of the home. Interment in Bluffton Cemetery; arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville. Thelma Eikleberry Thelma (Cameron) Eikleberry of Paris, AR died September 9, 1997 at Lawton, OK. She was born September 26, 1913 at Monterey, LA to the late Barney and Regina Cameron. She lost both parents while still young and grew up in the home of a cousin, Rosa Carter at Paris. She married Ardell Eikleberry, who preceded her in death in 1979. Interment in Havana Cemetery; arrangements by Roller Funeral Home. Isabelle Hicks Isabelle Hicks, age 84, of Danville, AR died Saturday, September 20, 1997 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. Interment in Union Hill Cemetery, Union Hill, AR. Eva McElroy Eva Lois (Gilliam) McElroy, age 76, of Rover, AR died Tuesday. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Stella Gilliam. Among her survivors is her husband, Ralph McElroy. Interment in Hunt Chapel Cemetery in Rover, AR; arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville, AR. Gary Taylor Gary F. Taylor, age 49, of Dardanelle, AR died on September 13, 1997 at home. His survivors include his parents, Louie Taylor of Poteau, OK and Pauline Forrester of London, AR. Interment in Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville. Vera Cooke Vera (King) Cooke passed away September 19, 1997 at her home near Terrell, TX. She was born in McRay, AR on August 25, 1913, the first of four children born to Edward and Ruby Tharp King. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis S. Cooke.
