    3. Mike, I too traveled from Texas to Moore's Hill Cemetery this month and had not seen it before. It was the most amazing cemetery I have ever seen!!! The bulldozer was parked there and the clearing was being done, we took the NEWLY graded road up the steep hill to the cemetery and I tell you the truth, we were in a full size van and we hung off the new road on the side of the hill and it was an experience....we just drove on back down and didn't get out to view the gravesites. This cemetery reminds me of Indian Mounds I have worked on in my Archelogy work here in the Dallas area. I agree with you, and wish I had seen it in it's original setting. The old "Hugh Johnson" or Samuel Johnson line also Balch mother, originally owned a good part of this land in the area and still do today. My ancestor also had land that ran almost up to the cemetery on the SE all the way back across the highway. Which he patented in 1841...Radford Greenwood. This is all OLD PROSPERITY...right?!
