He recorded a visit to Jud PREWIT near Cooper, TX in August 1913. John's mother was Harriett HUTCHINSON, niece of Charles HUTCHESON, who was married to Sarah TATE. John's wife, Minnie TATE WILSON, was the granddaughter of Mary E. TATE and Thomas S. ROGERS. Another sister of Mary E. and Sarah was Martha J.TATE, who was married to Thomas PRUETT. Is he an ancestor of Jud? These TATE women were the daughters of Jacob and Sarah R. TATE of SC.
