My grandmother was a WALKER who married a WALKER (different families but part of both families in Yell Co). The maternal line is: James Walker, Halifax NC, d. 1818 John F. (Frianch) Walker Thomas H. Walker John Alexander Walker, b. 11-9-1845; m. Nancy Jane Nelms James Ira Walker m. Julia Clementine Slay My grandparents: Eula Florence Walker b. 1898; m. Pony Oscar Walker in Yell Co. (some of his side of the Walker family migrated to SW Okla, Hobart, Cordell area). Other families who married into the Walkers are Price, Gill, Cunningham,Hodges, Hendrix, Powell, Rogers, Grey, Stapleton, Lambkins, Waters, Apple, Lynch, Holt and others.
