Deane Parker, age 67, died Monday, December 22, 1997. She was a longtime resident of Claremore, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jewel Lofland of Gravelly, AR and father, Addison Payne of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Among her survivors is her husband of 46 years, Charles W. Parker of the home and her step-father, Nooner Bellew of Ola, AR. Funeral service was held December 29th at the First Baptist Church of Verdigris. Interment followed in Floral Haven Cemetery. Loyal Beman Loyal Beman, age 82, a resident of Plainview, AR died Friday, January 9, 1998 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center at Russellville, AR. He was born on October 28, 1915 at Randalia, Iowa to the late Earl and Mary Newcomb Beman. He married Benita Briggs on November 7, 1937 at Randalia, Iowa. Among his survivors is his wife, Benita Beman of Plainview, AR. The body was cremated. Bob Hobbs Bobby "Bob" Glenn Hobbs, age 64 of Sherman, Texas passed away Saturday, January 10, 1998 at the Veterans Medical Center in Bonham, Texas. He was born in Benton, AR April 1, 1933, son of the late William Charles and Dovie Drennan Hobbs. Among his survivors is his wife, Mary Rollans Hobbs. Interment in Havana Cemetery; arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville, AR. Bill Robison Mr. William "Bill" Robison, age 68, of Dardanelle, AR died Tuesday, January 6, 1998 at Little Rock, AR. He was the son of the late William E. and Ellen Parker Robison. Among his survivors is his wife, Mary Robison. Interment in Brearley Cemetery at Dardanelle, AR. James Whitworth James Melvin Whitworth, age 61, of Plainview, AR, died Thursday, January 8 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville, AR. He was born September 3, 1936 in Arkadelphia, AR to the late Walter Thomas and Mary Ellen Ray Whitworth. Interment in Richwood Cemetery, Arkadelphia, AR; arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville, AR. Joyce Rhoades Joyce Lofland Rhoades, age 79, of Gravelly, AR died Friday, January 9, at Yell County Nursing Home. She was the widow of Esley Rhoades and the daughter of the late Warren Lofland and Eva Taylor.
